What is this program about?
Optimum365 is a one of a kind, comprehensive disease prevention and optimal health educational program. It seeks the truth of Gods word in relation to caring for his temple and the body of Christ.
The program runs for 8 weeks (9 optional) and lasts 2 hours each week. The 1st hour is a presentation, followed by an optional 45 minute group exercise session and finishes with 15 minutes prayer/praise.
The weekly presentations are designed to teach and empower participants with the knowledge needed to avoid many of the culprits of disease, and help facilitate the lifestyle choices needed to achieve optimal health. Knowledge is empowering!
Class Schedule
Week 1.) Causes of Disease - Toxins in our environment, home, and personal care products. What you need to do to reduce your exposure.
Week 2.) Causes of Disease - Questionable and susceptible additives in the food supply, and why the Standard American Diet (S.A.D) will slowly rob your health and vitality.
Week 3.) A closer look into the Medical Industrial Complex. What's the real driving force behind our Health (sick) Care System, and why it's so important to be proactive about your health.
Week 4.) Nutrition - A closer look into Fats and their overall role in your health. Which ones to incorporate into your diet, and which ones to avoid.
Week 5.) Nutrition - A closer look into Carbohydrates & Protein and their roll into your overall health.
Week 6.) The truth about Food Labeling and Advertising. Which ones are trustworthy, and which ones are misleading.
Week 7.) Exercise - The physical, mental, and spiritual benefits of regular exercise and why it's so important to incorporate into your lifestyle.
Week 8.) A healthy approach to weight loss/maintenance, longevity and vitality. A final wrap up, and other holistic modalities that are helpful.
Week 9.) (Optional) A trip to a local health food store. Tips on shopping.
